CMW: Canadian Music Week

Canadian Music Week is a Toronto-based festival that is considered to be the premier entertainment event in North America. It focuses on the business of music and consists of 5 nights of performances, with 1,000 showcasing bands at more than 60 live music venues in downtown Toronto. The festival covers diverse aspects of the music industry that required individual distinction while remaining consistent with the CMW brand. Cosmic developed a logo system that was clean and impactful across platforms. Our solution visually defined the subsections of the festival and allowed the flexibility to incorporate the year into the design with minimal revision. Mimicking the look of sound waves through the abbreviated letters of CMW reflects the energy of this dynamic festival.
